Sunset Trailer Park discusses code violations with council

Roughly 10 residents of Sunset Trailer Park met with the city council last week to voice their intentions to work with the city to bring the park back to code.

Eric Leroux spoke on behalf of the tenants, explaining that he has worked extensively with councilman John Norman.

Sunset Trailer Park does not currently have a valid permit that it needs to operate within the city limits. The permit expired at the end of the 2012 calendar year and the owner never filed for a new permit, which costs $100. Both the city and the tenants have attempted to contact the owner, Henry Menardo Coconi, in California, to no avail.
