The City of Oskaloosa found their replacement in Eric Leroux for the city council seat that was vacated by Kathy Griffin just over a month ago.

Leroux stepped in after Pam Ireland briefly filled the position. Ireland was approved and sworn in Aug. 1 but stepped down less than 24 hours later.

Leroux had been in contact with Mayor Eric Hull and council president John Norman since the position became available. He was approved by the council on Thursday night and sworn into the position Friday morning.
