Kerri Oliva has managed Dollar General stores for 10 years, but Valley Falls provided her first experience at stocking a brand-new store.

The doors opened on the new Dollar General Nov. 29 on Highway K-4 next to Valley Ag.

Crazy, tired, and fun were words she used to describe the experience in starting from scratch in an empty building and working until it was ready for the public.

“I love coming to work, but that was really a great experience,” she said.
