Waiting for a bite in fishing derby

Audra Moore and her daughter, Addison, 5, were among the participants in the Helen Stewart Memorial Fishing Derby last weekend at ponds on the Bryan Tillery farm. Each child who attended was given a life vest made available through a grant from Kansas Safe Kids. The derby is sponsored by the Valley Falls Recreation Commission.
