Lawrence Froelich Jr.
He married Rhonda Eisenhart Feb. 4, 2012. Since 2005, they have owned and operated Meriden Pharmacy.
Mr. Froelich is a graduate of Hayden High School and the University of Kansas, School of Pharmacy. In addition to working in the hospital pharmacy at Mount Carmel Medical Center, Pittsburg, he owned and operated Pittsburg Pharmacy, served as executive director of the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy, and worked at Food-4-Less Pharmacy.
He was a member of the Kansas Pharmacists Association and the Meriden Chamber of Commerce.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his children, Brooke Pottorf, Kansas City, Mo., Danielle Froelich, Scottsdale, Ariz., Larry C. Froelich III, Midway, Ga., and Luke Froelich, Scottsdale; a stepson, Josh Eisenhart, Tecumseh; two sisters, Kathy Fredette, Moorhead, Minn., and Pat Smart, Great Falls, Va.; a brother, Jerry Froelich, Tecumseh.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert.
Cremation is planned. A celebration of his life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka.
Memorial contributions can be made to Midland Care Hospice Services, Friends of Hospice of Jefferson County, Meriden Chamber of Commerce, or Meriden Community Library and sent in care of the funeral home.
