The following accidents were recently reported:

June 30, 7:10 a.m.: Brayden L. Black, 23, Meriden, was backing a vehicle on Main Street near Palmberg Street in Meriden when the vehicle stuck a parked vehicle owned by Gary Bowen, Meriden.

July 4, 1:25 p.m.: Lee A. Hamlet, 49, Lecompton, was turning into a driveway off of Ferguson Road near U.S. 24 Highway when a southbound vehicle driven by Del A. Hanckck, 50, Paola, struck the right rear corner.

July 11, 2:30 p.m.: Travis D. Domann, 42, Winchester, was traveling westbound on Rogers Road near Phillips Road when the front driver’s side tire blew out causing Domann to lose control of the vehicle and drifted into a soybean field before coming to rest in a creek.

July 13, 11:58 a.m.: A vehicle owned by Michael Cote, Meriden, was parked in a lot along K-4 Highway when it rolled away and stuck a vehicle owned by Sheryle Bruner, Topeka.

July 13, 4:07 p.m.: Arlene Bates, 91, Oskaloosa, struck some chairs and a building with her vehicle as she attempted to park in a lot on the 700 block of Walnut Street in Oskaloosa.

July 15, 5:50 a.m.: Clayton W. Libel, 24, Winchester, was traveling on U.S. 59 Highway near Osage Road when he lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected before ending up in the ditch.

July 15, 10:21 a.m.: Charlotte L. Swaggerty, 52, Nortonville, was heading southeast on Locust Street in Nortonville and stopped at the intersection of Norton Street. A vehicle driven by William D. Banker, 64, Nortonville, ran the stop sign and struck Swaggerty’s vehicle.

July 15, 5:44 p.m.: Michael J. Padorke, 44, Topeka, was traveling on a motorcycle on U.S. 24 Highway and failed to negotiate the curve sending the bike off the road and ejecting him and a passenger, Alisha M. Langham.

The following drivers recently struck wildlife on county roadways:
