The following accidents were recently reported:

June 1, 8 a.m.: Alison M. Houk, 22, Oskaloosa, was traveling north on Saline Road near 134th Street when her vehicle left the roadway after she steered to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle ended up in the ditch.

June 1, 12:10 p.m.: David D. Krainbill, 54, Ozawkie, was traveling south on Wellman Road near 27th Street when he fell asleep and crossed the center line and struck a guardrail.

June 6, 9:45 p.m.: Travis L. Naylor, 57, Tecumseh, was traveling westbound on K-4 Highway near Jackson Road when his vehicle struck a steer.

June 9, 11:24 a.m.: Fred E. Snow, 45, Oskaloosa, was traveling south on Delaware Street near Lawrence Street in Oskaloosa when his vehicle sideswiped a parked vehicle owned by April M. Sheley, Winchester.

June 9, 3:13 p.m.: Meghan M. Allen, 28, Lawrence, was traveling west on 21st Street near Washington Street and was cresting a hill when an ATV was in Allen’s lane. Allen swerved into the ditch while the ATV tried to climb the ditch and rolled into Allen’s vehicle. The ATV left the scene and did not return.

June 10, 4:20 a.m.: Roman H. Page, 21, Valley Falls, was traveling northbound on Union Street near 54th Street when he lost control of the vehicle on loose gravel. The vehicle flipped over and landed on its top in the ditch.
