Delaware Township library plans summer program

Readers of all ages will explore the night this summer as Delaware Township Library presents “Dream Big — READ!” during its summer reading program.

Activities will include programs on stargazing, dreams and wishes, yoga exercises and more. The program is open to young people, preschool through sixth grade.

Preschoolers will be attending Mondays from 1 to 2 p.m. beginning June 4. This past year’s kindergarten group will come on Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. and begin June 6.

This past year’s first and second graders will come from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays beginning June 5. This past year’s third and fourth graders will come from 1:15 to 2:15 Thursdays beginning June 7.

The fifth and sixth grades make up The Lunch Bunch that will come Thursdays at noon with their sack lunches. This begins June 7 and the library will be furnishing the drink and dessert.

The program runs from June 4 through July 14, reports librarian Kay Lassiter. All programs are free of charge.
