The following accidents were recently reported:

May 6, 6:18 p.m.: Lizanne M. Jolley, 55, McLouth, was pulling into a gas pump at Casey’s Oskaloosa when a vehicle driven by Mildred J. Dawson, 71, Oskaloosa, backed into Jolley’s vehicle.

May 12, 1:13 p.m.: Jeanie J. Painter, 56, Winchester, backed into a parked car on Fisher Street, Valley Falls. The unoccupied vehicle was owned by Bethany A. Gerety, Valley Falls.

May 13, 12:06 a.m.: David D. Freeland, 35, Mayetta, was traveling on K-16 Highway near King Road when a tire blew out on the driver’s side front and caused the vehicle to go into the ditch and struck a tree.

Correction:

May 3, 5:09 p.m.: Randall Penry, 60 Meriden, was traveling south on Palmberg Street in Meriden and was attempting to pull into a driveway when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Wade Schneider, 42, Meriden.
