Ruth Stebbins
Ruth D. Stebbins, 83, Topeka, died April 12, 2012.
She was born Jan. 3, 1929, the daughter of Arthur G. and Pearl Gillum Brokmann at Valley Falls. She graduated from Meriden High School in 1948 and was a member of Seaman Congregational Church.
She married Lyle F. Stebbins April 24, 1949. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include four children, Denise Grimmett, Grantville, Dianne Fender, Topeka, Danny Stebbins, Meriden, and Denzil Stebbins, Topeka; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Howard Brokmann, Topeka.
Ruth was a homemaker and an avid quilter.
Funeral services were April 18 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, Topeka. Burial was at Oakridge Cemetery, north of Perry.
