JCN teacher receives national award in Boston
She is a secondary business teacher at Jefferson County North High School in Winchester. She has taught computer courses at JCNHS for 12 years and works with the web design and yearbook students.
This award is presented annually to a secondary business teacher who made significant contributions to the field of business education by implementing creative and innovative ideas in the classroom, by involvement in department or school activities, and by participation in professional organizations.
After winning the regional teaching award at this summer’s Mountain Plains Business Education Association Conference, Johnson was nominated by a collegiate colleague from Nebraska.
The National Business Education Association represents business educators from across the country and is the nation’s leading professional organization devoted exclusively to serving individuals and groups engaged in business instruction, administration, and research.
