Dorothy McAfee
Dorothy McAfee, 82, died April 6, 2012, after a long illness, at her home in Green Valley, Ariz.
She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Valley Falls, to Joe and Dora Bowie.
At the family’s request, no services will be held.
For most of her life, she lived in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to Arizona in March 2011. While in Alaska, she worked for the Anchorage School District as the food manager.
She is survived by her husband, James McAfee; two sons, Randy, Chino Valley, Ariz., and Mike, Anchorage; a sister, Ruth Ethington, Emporia; two brothers, Howard Bowie, Derby, Earl Bowie, Holton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
