The following accidents were recently reported:

March 13, 7:59 p.m.: Edward S. Bailey Jr., 53, Kansas City, was traveling east on K-16 Highway and was attempting to turn onto 86th Street when his vehicle collided with a westbound vehicle driven by John F. Sloop, 75, Valley Falls.

March 14, 7:54 p.m.: James E. Cockerham, 48, Olathe, was traveling west on Fairmont Road and lost control of the vehicle while braking for a stop sign near K-16 Highway.

The following drivers recently struck wildlife on county roadways:
