Carole L. Noll

Carole L. Noll, 69, of Cummings, KS, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012, at her home in Cummings, KS, with her loving family by her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM Saturday, March 31, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Atchison, with Fr. Gabriel Landis, OSB, as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Corpus Christi Cemetery, Mooney Creek, KS. A parish rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 30, 2012, with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Corpus Christi Cemetery and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Carole L. Servaes was born on February 16, 1943, in Atchison County, KS the daughter of Andrew and Florence (VanHorn) Servaes. She graduated from Mt. St. Scholastica in 1961 and received her licensed practical nurses training from the Northeast Kansas Area Vo-Technical School in Atchison. Carole worked as a LPN at the Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville, KS, and then at Valley Hope for over 10 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Nortonville, KS, and a proud supporter of Maur Hill Mount Academy. She was a big Denver Broncos and KU Basketball fan and enjoyed cooking and baking bread. Carole especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her sisters and playing bingo.

She was married to Marvin Joseph Noll on July 4, 1961, at St. Joseph Church, Atchison, KS. Mr. Noll preceded her in death on March 2, 2006. Survivors include two sons; Michael (Shelly) Noll, Cummings, KS, Paul Noll, Cummings, KS, four daughters; Diane (Tim) Crockett, Atchison, KS, Nancy (Gary) Meyer, Monet, MO, Annette Noll, Cummings, KS, and Sara (Randy) Grandpre, Valley Falls, KS, four brothers; LeRoy Servaes, Larry Servaes, Phil Servaes, of Atchison, KS and Richard Servaes, St. Joseph, MO, four sisters; Janet Lee, Atchison, KS, Dorothy Lee, Royal City, WA, Rita Rokstool, Topeka, KS, and Joan Ragsdale, Topeka, KS, 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. Her parents, two sisters, Donna Urban and Mary Ann Kahling, and two brothers, Louis Servaes and Eugene Servaes preceded her in death.
