Peggy Woodhead

Peggy J. Woodhead, Lenexa, died March 1, 2012.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Aug. 28, 1928. She married “Woody” Marlin Woodhead 61 years ago and has lived in Kansas for the last 50 years.

She was an active member of the Central Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; sons Michael Woodhead, Mclouth, and Douglas Woodhead, Overland Park; daughters, Vicki Woodhead Barker, Shawnee, and Sharon Woodhead Hossfeld, Lenexa; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were March 7 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, Lenexa. Burial was at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Porter Funeral Home, Lenexa, was in charge of arrangements.
