Harold Jordan
Harold Lloyd Jordan, 85, Overland Park, died March 23, 2012, at Villa St. Joseph.
He was born Feb. 11, 1927, at Wakarusa, the son of Horace A. and Dessie I. Heberling Jordan. He graduated from Berryton High School in 1945.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired U.S. postal clerk. He was a member of Village Presbyterian Church, Topeka Lodge No. 17, AF & AM, Northeast Valley of the Scottish Rite, and Abdallah Shriners.
Surviving are his wife, Helen L. Herdt Jordan, of the home; two sons, Douglas C. Jordan, Phoenix, Ariz., and Gary P. Jordan, Leawood; a brother, Harley Jordan, Orlando, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Helen Jordan is a sister of Irene Hurst, Valley Falls, and a former Valley Falls resident.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Gail Casey, Nov. 23, 2007.
Private interment of cremains will be in Valley Falls Cemetery.
