John Bradley Jr.
John F. Bradley Jr., 85, Meriden, died Feb. 17, 2012, at Stormont-Vail Regional Hospital.
Mr. Bradley was born in Waurika, Okla., the son of John F. and Elizabeth J. Platt Bradley Sr.
He had worked as a warehouseman for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Topeka for 39 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Rock Creek Bible Church, the National Rifle Association, and the Steel Workers Union Local 307.
He is survived by his wife, Lois G. Bradley, of the home; a daughter, Barbara Bradley, Meriden; and a brother, Richard Bradley, Beaver Dam, Va.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Rock Creek Bible Church, northeast of Meriden. Burial will be in Meriden Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the church or the Second Amendment Foundation.
Arrangements are by Chapel Oaks Meriden Funeral Chapel.
