The following accidents were recently reported:
Jan. 23, 10:45 a.m.: Sharon K. Roberts, 56, Lecompton, was traveling on Lecompton Road near 17th Street when a vehicle driven by Dwight G. Gigstad, 52, Nortonville, failed to yield and struck Roberts’s vehicle.
Feb. 3, 8:37 a.m.: Kyle D. Rodecap, 25, Topeka, was driving a tractor trailer northbound on K-16 Highway near 170th Street when the tires went off the edge of the blacktop. Rodecap attempted to bring the trailer back onto the roadway and spun the rig across the traffic lane and onto its side.
Feb. 4, 1 a.m.: Robert A. Saxton, 19, McLouth, was traveling westbound on 74th Street near Union Road when he lost control of the vehicle and went into the ditch and struck a barbed wire fence.
