Marilyn Lee Johnson, 54, Meriden, died Dec. 26, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
She was born Jan. 18, 1957, at Topeka, the daughter of Roy Eugene and Helen RoseLea Bell Rodecap.
A lifelong resident of Meriden, she was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson West High School. She worked as a waitress in several cafes and restaurants in the Meriden and Topeka area.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 399 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Unit No. 10815, both in Meriden.
She married Gary L. Johnson Dec. 4, 1978, at Oskaloosa. He survives at the home.
She is also survived by her mother of Topeka; two daughters, Kristy Scott, Ozawkie, and Misty Meier, Topeka; a stepdaughter-in-law, Jodie Johnson, Topeka; two sisters, Betty Ann Anderson, Meriden, and Norma Vink, Topeka; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a stepson, Gary Alan Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Meriden United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Meriden Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
