The following accidents were recently reported:

July 19, 2:15 p.m.: Matthew T. Abramovitz, 19, Valley Falls, was traveling north on Decatur Road near K-4 Highway when the frame broke on his vehicle. He left the roadway on the east side and went into the ditch and rolled.

Oct. 31, 7:45 a.m.: James R. Schonherr, 52, McLouth, was traveling north on Union Road near 74th Street when a vehicle driven by Olivia L. Evans, 16, McLouth, passed Schonherr and kicked gravel up onto the windshield causing damage.

Nov. 26, 2 a.m.: Sharon R. O’Trimble, 49, Perry, was traveling north on Pawnee Road near 46th Street when she swerved to avoid a deer and went off the road into the ditch.

Nov. 26, 10 p.m.: A vehicle owned by John Steinmetz, McLouth, was parked legally on Union Street. Sometime during the night an unknown vehicle struck Steinmetz’s vehicle in the rear of the driver’s side and did not report the accident.

Nov. 27, 2:30 p.m.: Mattie J Williams, 37, Valley Falls, was traveling north on Bluemound Road near 142nd Street when she swerved to miss a deer and went into the ditch.

Nov. 28, 7:30 a.m.: Mary J. Henry, 52, Winchester, was traveling west on K-192 Highway and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of U.S. 59 Highway. A vehicle driven by Stephen M. Lane, 21, Valley Falls, was also traveling west on K-192 Highway and did not stop before rear-ending Henry’s vehicle.

Nov. 28, 8:15 a.m.: Ashlyn N. Tillery, 18, Valley Falls, was traveling south on K-4 Highway near Blue Mound Road when her vehicle went off the west side of the shoulder. The vehicle overcorrected and slid across the highway and rolled into the east side ditch.
