Virginia Sweaney
Virginia Lee Sweaney, 71, Tonganoxie, formerly of Oskaloosa, died at her home Nov. 16, 2011.
She was born Feb. 6, 1940.
Survivors include one son, Steven Roper, Kansas City; and three daughters, Kathy Roper, Bonner Springs, Kristi Bailey, Eudora, and Vicky Hogue, Shawnee; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 21 at the Oskaloosa United Methodist Church. Burial was at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
Memorials can be made to the Diabetes Association and sent in care of Barnett Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 602, Oskaloosa, 66066.
