Meriden-Ozawkie Chamber lighting contest begins soon
The Meriden-Ozawkie Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Christmas Lighting Contest in December for Meriden, Ozawkie, and the rural community.
A $50 prize will be awarded in each of the three areas: 1) within Meriden city limits, 2) within Ozawkie city limits, and 3) the unincorporated areas near each city.
Judging will take place between 6 and 7 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10.
All one needs to do to enter is notify the Chamber by calling Jason at 484-3322 (jpickerell@dsbks.com) or Jim at 220-9100 (royalflush100@yahoo.com).
The Chamber needs the name, address, and directions to the home by Dec. 6.
