Judy Coder to return to the Elmont Opry

Judy Coder will join the Elmont Opry troupe Nov. 11 and 12 in a program of classic country and western music. After several years absence from the Elmont stage, she will sing again at the place where the trained classical singer dared to yodel for the first time.

The following week, Coder will be entertaining in Albuquerque, N.M., where she is a finalist in the competition for Female Vocalist of the Year by the Western Music Association.

Drummer Woodie Parker, Valley Falls, will be among the more than a dozen entertainers taking the stage.

The opry is held in the Elmont Church Fellowship Hall, NW 66th and Church Lane, Topeka.
