The following accidents were recently reported:
Oct. 15. 7:51 p.m.: Peyton L. Barrett, 14, Winchester, was backing a vehicle from a parking stall on 5th Street in Winchester when the vehicle struck a parked unoccupied vehicle owned by Carolyn C. Kroll, Winchester.
Nov. 13, 8:44 a.m.: Madison A. Mercer, 17, Ozawkie, was traveling south on K-237 Highway near 50th Street when her vehicles’s tires dropped off the west side of the road. Mercer overcorrected and her vehicle left the roadway on the east side and hit some trees. She was transported to Stormont-Vail Hospital by ambulance.
Nov. 13, 11:12 a.m.: Adam T. Herman, 14, Perry, was traveling eastbound on 31st Street near Oak Road when he lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The vehicle hit a fenceline and rolled three times. He was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Nov. 14, 5:33 a.m.: A stolen vehicle owned by Carmen O. Ruiz, Topeka, was wrecked on K-237 Highway near U.S. 24 Highway.
