Virginia Daniels

Virginia Daniels, 82, Topeka, died Sept. 10, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

She was born Sept. 25, 1928, at Rossville the daughter of Clarence and Alice Hahn. She was raised in Rossville and graduated from high school there.

Virginia DanielsShe worked at Peoples State Bank in Rossville after her graduation.

She married W. Glen Daniels May 16, 1948, at Rossville. He preceded her in death May 5, 2003.

They moved to Topeka where they raised their family.

She worked at several banks, Jostens and Southwestern Bell. She later worked as a receptionist at the Menniger Foundation. She volunteered at the Blood Bank and for USD 501. She retired in 1990.

Survivors include her sons, W. Greg Daniels, Topeka, and Randy Daniels, Ozawkie; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two stepgranddaughters. two grandchildren, Rebecca Haling and Willie, reside at Winchester.

Preceding her in death were a grandson, William Glen Daniels, Nov. 25, 1990, and her brother, Sam Hahn, in 1990.

Funeral services were Sept. 14 at Davidson Funeral Home.
