Jefferson West golf team wins at Alvamar
The Jefferson West girls’ golf team has won its second tournament in as many weeks.The Tigers carried away the first place trophy at the Alvamar Golf Course in Lawrence with nine teams and 53 girls participating.
The team’s score of 377 was 22 strokes better than runner-up Silver Lake. Four Tigers placed in the top 10.
Winning medals were Abbie Thelen, 4th, Ally West, 5th, Jade Brake, 6th, and Kati Richmond, 9th. Others on the team were Sydnee Mundhenke and Allie Deiter.
