The following accidents were recently reported:

July 16, 3:30 p.m.: Christopher G. Whitman, 47, Winchester, was traveling southbound on Saline Street near K-192 Highway in Winchester when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a ditch on the north side of Delaware Street.

Aug. 1, 9:30 p.m.: Allison R. Salsbery, 40, Meriden, was traveling south on Butler Road near 62nd Street when she lost control of her vehicle on loose gravel and slid sideways into a ditch and rolled over onto its top.

Aug. 5, 5:45 a.m.: Robert L. Lewis Jr., 51, Ozawkie, was traveling southbound on Ferguson Road near 94th Street and was attempting to pass a golf cart driven by Derek Price, Peabody. Price attempted to make a left turn and struck Lewis’ vehicle as it passed.

Aug. 7, 3 p.m.: Chelsie M. Butler, 17, Meriden, was traveling on Sherman Road near 110th Street when she lost sight of the road and over corrected, lost control, slid sideways, leaving the road and the vehicle rolled over.

Aug. 7, 8:35 p.m.: Megan C. May, 28, Oskaloosa, was traveling on 98th Street near Osage Road when her vehicle struck a bridge. She was cited for DUI.
