The following site council members have been approved by the Jefferson West Board of Education at its Sept. 12 meeting:
Plans are being made to provide an entrance sign for the pioneer cemetery on the west edge of Valley Falls.
Larry E. Cornelison, 61, Meriden, was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Main Street in Meriden Sept. 12.

George J. Sell, 91, Stilwell, died Sept. 17, 2011, at St. Luke’s South Hospital, Overland Park.
Barbara Ann Brown, 78, of Atchison, KS, died Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at the Atchison Senior Village.
Mrs. Dorothy Allene Estes, 86, went home to be with her Lord Sept. 6, 2011.
