Wreck hospitalizes 2 childrenTwo children headed for Bible school at the Jefferson Assembly of God Church recently wound up in a hospital after a rear-end collision on K-4 Highway north of Meriden. Lisa Frisbie, 33, Meriden, was stopped to make a left turn off the highway onto Clark Road when her 2008 Chevrolet was struck from the rear by a 1997 Ford Ranger driven by David Murphree, 52, Valley Falls. Passengers in the Frisbie vehicle were Jordan Butler, 13, Luka Frisbie, 5, and Kaleb Frisbie, 8. Both Frisbie children were transported to Topeka hospitals for treatment.
