Betty Lou Anderson

Betty Lou Anderson, 83, Meriden, died Aug. 21, 2011, at the Village Villa Nursing Center in Nortonville.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Eskridge April 24, 1928, the daughter of Albert W. and Bertha E. Hill Rowley. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Meriden United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Goodyear Retirees Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Anderson, in 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Theron Anderson, Meriden, and Karl Anderson, Topeka; a daughter, Norma Moore, Tyrone, Okla.; a brother, Ben Rowley, S. Dartmouth, Mass.; a sister, Mary Wiseman, Topeka; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Chapel Oaks Meriden Chapel. Burial was in the Meriden Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
