Photo Gallery: 35th annual Meriden Threshing Show

The Knudsen baling crew, led by Dennis Knudsen Oskaloosa, was in full force at the 35th annual Meriden Threshing Show over the weekend. The baling crew demonstrates the fashion in which hay or straw was baled from 1920 up until about 1950. Dennis said this is the 40th year the Knudsen family has gathered for threshing shows in McLouth and later in Meriden. Other crew members helping through the weekend were daughter Darla Knudsen, granddaughters Amanda Hammond, Laura Pennel, Perry, Veronica Knudsen, Perry, and Cassie Knudsen, Algona, Iowa.
