Janice Artman
Janice Nadine Artman of Oskaloosa, Kansas entered into heaven on July 20th 2011.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas on Jan. 11th, 1935, to George and Madonna Meyer. Janice graduated from Mclouth High school in 1952.
She married Leroy Artman in 1953 and they later divorced.
Janice owned her own construction company and was a heavy equipment operator for several years. She also worked at Hallmark Cards and retired in 1992.
She was a member of the Eagles, Eastern star, and the Countryside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George Lee Meyer.
She’s survived by four children, Madonna Staus, Oskaloosa, Kansas; Antone Artman, Oskaloosa, Kansas; Deanne Killingsworth (Greg), Oskaloosa, Kansas; and Roy Artman, Topeka, Kansas. She has 10 grandchildren, 7 stepgrandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 stepgrandchildren.
She was a Grandma to many in the community.
Memorial services were held July 23rd, 2011, at Countryside Baptist Church, McLouth, Kansas.
