Cyclist takes ditch to avoid collision
A McLouth man was injured when he had to take evasive action with his motorcycle to avoid hitting another vehicle.James Johnson, 60, was westbound on US-24 highway southwest of Tonganoxie when an unknown blue vehicle made a left turn in front of him. To avoid a collision, Johnson entered the north ditch and lost control.
He was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a helmet.
