Playing in the rain
Members of the Oskaloosa and Valley Falls baseball teams worked together to drag a large tarp across the infield at Community America Ballpark in Kansas City May 5 before a heavy storm arrived. The game was rescheduled from last month and again had to be rescheduled. The game was eventually played on Mother’s Day. Valley Falls junior varsity won 9-4, and the Valley Falls varsity team beat the Bears, 14-0. Photo by Dennis Sharkey
