Jourdan S. Albee, 20, Valley Falls, died from injuries received as a result of an automobile accident May 10, 2011.
She was born at Wichita, Oct. 15, 1990, the daughter of Stan and Julie Grimes Albee and lived in northeast Kansas all of her life. The family lived in Hiawatha when Jourdan was a youngster prior to the family moving to Holton where she graduated from Holton High School, class of 2009. She graduated from MTTI Wellspring April 15.
She attended First United Methodist Church of Holton.
Survivors include her parents of Valley Falls; a brother, Jason Bauerle, Hiawatha; and paternal grandparents, Rodney and JoAnn Albee, St. Joseph, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Phyllis Winter Grimes.
A Celebration of Jourdan’s life was held May 14 at First United Methodist Church of Hiawatha. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.
