Fannie Botts

Fannie Lou Botts, 79, Tonganoxie, formerly of Kansas City, died Saturday May 21, 2011, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

She was born March 5, 1932, in McLouth, the daughter of James and Bessie Shrader Lobb.

She married William L. Botts. He preceded her in death Sept. 6, 2008. She retired from Sears in Kansas City, Mo., and was a member of the Eastern Star Sincerity Chapter No. 295, Kansas City.

Survivors include one son, Donald L. Botts, Bonner Springs; one daughter, LuAnn McConville, Bonner Springs; one brother, James D. Lobb, McLouth; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of the funeral home, 604 E. 4th St., Tonganoxie, 66086.
