The following accidents were recently reported:
May 4, 10:10 p.m.: Kenneth L. Waters, 69, Topeka, was traveling east on K-4 Highway near 46th Street. According to Christopher D. Harris, 40, Meriden, who was traveling behind Water’s vehicle on a motorcycle, Waters slowed down abrubtly and began turning left onto 46th Street. Harris’ bike rear ended Waters’ vehicle and was caught on the back bumper. Waters’ vehicle drug the bike for a short distance.
May 15, 1:16 p.m.: Jessica J. Platt, 17, Valley Falls, was backing out of a parking stall in the parking lot of Country Harvest store in Meriden when her vehicle struck the front bumper of a rental truck.
May 17, 3:30 p.m.: Jessica L. George, 23, Winchester, was traveling north on Wellman Road near 78th Street when she swerved to miss a deer and rolled the vehicle.
