2 lives lost in K-4 wreck

The drivers of a head-on collision on Highway K-4 were killed May 10 about 5 1/2 miles north of Meriden.
Dead are Mary Sands, 42, Valley Falls, and Jourdan Albee, 20, Holton.
The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m.
Albee was southbound in a 2002 Saturn and Sands was northbound in a 1996 Honda.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Albee’s vehicle drifted left of center for an unknown reason. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
