Jack Cronemeyer

Jack H. Cronemeyer, 59, Lawrence, died at his home April 17, 2011, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born Aug. 24, 1951, in Leavenworth, the son of Billy Jack and Joan Gruendel Cronemeyer.

He married Elizabeth Moore Dec. 26, 1974, in Lawrence. They had three children, Joshua R. Cronemeyer, Berkley, Calif., and Kate F. Gonzalez, and Joseph L. Cronemeyer, both Lawrence.

He married Mary Stewart May 1, 2002. They have one daughter, Dakota Jackson, of the home.

He was a carpenter in Kansas for over 40 years and owned Tri C Construction. He served on the Tonganoxie School Board for two years.

His first wife, Elizabeth, and his father, Jack, preceded him in death.

Other survivors include his sisters, Sonie Haislip, Tonganoxie, Trish Finch, Oskaloosa, and Jeanne Lovell, Tonganoxie; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the Circle S Ranch, 3325 Circle S Lane, Lawrence.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Century School Olivia Bushell Scholarship Fund and sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, 604 E. 4th Street, Tonganoxie, 66086.
