FD No. 11 cancels meeting dealing with paramedic
The special meeting of Fire District No. 11 board that was supposed to be held Tuesday night was cancelled.
The meeting originally called to discuss hiring a full-time paramedic has been put on hold, reports board chairman Butch Wynkoop.
Wynkoop said Fire Chief John Gordon wanted it tabled for now, that he had doubts about the district’s ability to afford the salary.
Wynkoop said the matter would be talked about at the regular meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. May 10.
