The following accidents were recently reported:

April 9, 6:45 p.m.: Guy A. Williams II, 18, Ozawkie, was traveling on Ferguson Road slowing to turn into a pasture near K-92 Highway when a vehicle driven by Ryan A. Sparks, 36, Baldwin City, attempted to pass Williams and the two vehicles collided. Three passengers in Sparks’ vehicle were taken by Jefferson County EMS to Stormont Vail Hospital.

April 10, 7:15 p.m.: Evan E. Smith, 18, McLouth, was traveling south on Wellman Road when he swerved to miss a deer and struck a tree.
