‘Time for Tea’ party at Valley Falls United Methodist Church
The Valley Falls Recreation Commission is sponsoring “A Time for Tea” party.
The party with the theme, “A May Day Tea” will be held starting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1, in the United Methodist Church fellowship hall. This event is open to all ages.
“We have some very gracious ladies in the community who have volunteered to ‘dress a table’ with their personal tableware and flatware pieces,” Jeri Clark, recreation commission chairwoman, said.
“We will plan to view the decorated tables first and then enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, food, and conversation,” Clark said.
A photographer will be available for the event.
Tickets will be $10. Proceeds will go toward purchasing books related to tea parties, etiquette, etc., to be donated to the Delaware Township Library.
