Trower plans to move, pulls out of Valley Falls city council race
Valley Falls city councilman Michael “Tony” Trower has taken himself out of the race for re-election.In a letter to the newspaper last week, he states that he expects to move out of the community in the near future.
“My name will appear on the April 5 ballot as it is too late to withdraw from the race, so I respectfully request that you consider supporting the other candidates that will be able to serve,” he wrote.
The one-term incumbent is one of six running for three council seats.
Trower expressed his appreciation to the public for the past support in electing him.
