Reported accidents:

Feb. 8, 3:09 p.m.: Keith W. Locklin, 56, Nortonville, was backing out of a driveway on Elm Street in Nortonville when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Wright Tree Service.

Feb. 16, 3:15 p.m.: Timothy E. Collins, 42, Topeka, was traveling south on Palmberg Street in Meriden near Meriden Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and slid off into the ditch and struck a mailbox.

Feb. 17, 10:15 a.m.: John H. Gallagher, 54, McLouth, was backing out of a parking spot on Walnut Street in Oskaloosa when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Kathy L. Burgess, Holton.

Feb. 20, 2:27 p.m.: Brian L. Evinger, 28, was traveling northbound on U.S. 59 Highway near 46th Street when his vehicle left the roadway. Evinger overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle and overturned twice.

Feb. 20, 7:40 p.m.: Sasha N. Stevens, 19, Coweta, Okla. was stopped at a stop sign on 74th Street at K-4 Highway. A vehicle driven by Kristen D. Narron, 39, Hoyt, was turning onto 74th Street from K-4 Highway. Stevens failed to yield to Narron before she cleared the intersection and struck the left rear end of Narron’s vehicle.

Feb. 20, 8 p.m.: Shawn M. Ball, 42, Perry, and Meranda S. Paden, 43, Horton, were both stopped at a railroad crossing on Lecompton Road in the northbound lane. Jerry J. Clarke, 62, Meriden, was traveling north on Lecompton Road and did not stop. Clarke rear ended Ball’s vehicle causing his vehicle to push into Paden’s vehicle.

The following drivers recently struck deer on county roadways:
