March 6: Susan Jones, rural Grantville, reported criminal damage to property.

March 6: Officers responded to a report of shots heard on the 12400 block of Union Road, rural Winchester.

March 7: Officers took a report of a burglary and theft on the 10000 block of North Bittersweet Way, Lakeside Village.

March 7: Clayton Libel, Winchester, reported an attempted theft.

March 7: Haley D. Nevins, Nortonville, reported criminal damage to property.

The following accidents were reported:

Feb. 24, 12:15 p.m.: Brooke E. Heavey, 27, Lawrence, was traveling northbound on U.S. 59 Highway near 63rd Street when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy road and left the roadway.

Feb. 24, 12:44 p.m.: Gaye P. Dodson, 54, Atchison, was traveling along US. 59 Highway near 166th Street when she lost control of the vehicle on the snowpacked roadway and went off the road.

Feb. 28, 3:30 p.m.: Rachel E. Ussery, 27, Perry, was traveling along U.S. 59 Highway near U.S.. 24 Highway and was slowing down to turn into a driveway when a vehicle driven by Janet L. King, 60, Perry, struck Ussery’s vehicle in the rear.

March 3, 12:04 p.m.: Claire E. Fulmer, 17, Ozawkie, was parking a vehicle on Main Street near Kansa Street in Ozawkie. Fulmer’s foot hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal and the vehicle struck a wall.

March 4, 7:35 a.m.: Judy M. Cunningham, 51, Valley Falls, was traveling north on K-4 Highway near 114th Street when the trailer her vehicle was towing began pushing the vehicle. The weight of the trailer overcame the vehicle and both slid into the ditch. The vehicle did not overturn but the trailer did.

March 8, 7:40 a.m.: Denise E. Herrman, 45, Valley Falls, was traveling on Swabville Road near 190th Street when she pulled to the side to let a truck pass. The tires of Herrman’s vehicle caught some mud and gravel and when she pulled back onto the roadway she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went across the roadway and into the ditch. Herrman was transported to Stormont Vail Hospital by Jefferson County Ambulance.
