With wind chill advisory in effect, residents dig out from latest winter storm

A wind chill advisory is in effect until noon today for the Jefferson County area, according to the National Weather Service.

A wind chill advisory will be in effect from 9 p.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Thursday.

During this time, wind chills could reach near 15 below zero with north winds reaching speeds of 20-25 mph.
