Logo contest under way in Valley Falls

The city of Valley Falls has kicked off a logo contest and invites the public to submit their designs.

The logo, once adopted by the city council, will adorn the water tower, police cars, and be used in numerous ways to represent the city.

The logo does not have to be a finished graphic design. The council is looking for ideas and will accept a simple sketch or rendering with a slogan. A suggested color scheme will also be helpful.

The deadline has been extended to March 10.

Entries can be dropped by city hall, mailed to 421-B Mary Street, or emailed to vfcityadmin@giantcom.net.

City administrator Chris Channell said a prize or prizes will be awarded, but what they are is still to be determined.
