Dale E. Morstorf

Dale E. Morstorf, 62, Topeka, died Jan. 12, 2011.

He was born Oct. 7, 1948, in Topeka, the son of Russell and Dilla Morstorf. He was a graduate of Topeka High School.

He owned and operated M & M Services in Meriden before retiring in 2002.

He was a former member of Arab Shrine in Topeka and Masonic Lodge No. 236 A.F.&A.M. in Meriden. He was an Eagle Scout and later served as an assistant scout master.

He married Linda File, Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Tim Morstorf, Lawrence; two stepdaughters, Heather Massey, Carbondale, and Holly Ellis, Florida; mother, Dilla Morstorf, Topeka; three siblings, Russell Morstorf, Topeka, Franklin Morstorf, Meriden, and Loretta Brown, Topeka; and seven grandchildren.

He was cremated. The family received visitors Jan. 13 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, Topeka. Private interment will be at a later date.
