Reported accidents:

Nov. 29, 2010, 6 p.m.: Mark Harter, 43, Winchester, was traveling along the 16800 block of 175th Street when he attempted to fit his vehicle between two other vehicles parked along the street. Harter’s vehicle damaged both vehicles owned by Deborah L. Kiser.

Dec. 16, 2010, 12:50 p.m.: John P. Beine, 36, Ozawkie, was traveling northbound on Ferguson Road near Slough Creek Road when his vehicle dropped off the road’s edge. Beine overcorrected and went across both lanes and rolled his vehicle into the west ditch.

Dec. 28, 2010, 8:57 a.m.: Stephen A. Mason, 37, Valley Falls, was traveling along Coal Creek Road near 170th Street when he swerved his vehicle to avoid a deer. Mason’s vehicle struck a bridge. Mason’s vehicle and a county sign suffered damage. Mason was not injured.

Dec. 29, 2010, 6:45 p.m.: Beverly A. Lacey, 53, Overland Park, was traveling south on Meriden Road near 114th Street when she lost control of the vehicle and skidded into an embankment.

Dec. 30, 2010, 12:17 p.m.: Dominic M. Chavez, 24, Topeka, was traveling on US 59 Hwy. near Wyandotte Street when his vehicle went onto the shoulder striking a direction sign and then going into the ditch.

Dec. 31, 2010, 3:52 p.m.: Tersea A. Aitken, 54, Topeka, was traveling north on K-4 Hwy. and attempting to turn onto 74th Street. Aitken’s vehicle hit a patch of ice as she was turning causing her vehicle to collide with a vehicle driven by Joyce J. Davis, 47, Ozawkie, that was stopped at a stop sign on 74th Street.

Jan. 1, 2:02 a.m.: Bessie M. Campbell, 52, Winchester, was traveling south on Riley Road near 166th Street when she swerved her vehicle to avoid a deer causing her to crash into the ditch.
