Accident reports:

Dec. 12, 6:50 p.m.: Andrew J. Pruett, 16, was traveling south on Labette Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign at 174th Street due to speed and traveled through the intersection and struck the south ditch.

Dec. 13, 11:51 a.m.: James L. McMillan, Grantville, was driving his trash truck on Miller Road and turning onto East Palmer Street when the truck caught a low hanging line. The truck pulled down the lines and damaged a power pole.

Dec. 13, 11:35 a.m.: Jordan N. Cross, 20, Oskaloosa, was traveling southbound on US 59 Hwy. near Hamilton Road when her vehicle hit a trailer attached to a truck that was being worked on. The trailer was about three feet into the roadway.

Dec. 15, 8:19 p.m.: Jennifer B. Noll, 29, McLouth, was traveling eastbound on 54th Street near Wellman Road when her vehicle began sliding down the roadway. The vehicle made a 180 degree turn before coming to rest in the north ditch.

Dec. 15, 8:07 p.m.: Merridee A. Elston, 39, Lecompton, was attempting to make a left turn from Jefferson Street onto Liberty Street in Oskaloosa when an unknown vehicle hit her vehicle from behind and then slid into a light pole. The unknown vehicle left the scene.
